Do you like this story?
Everyone expected it to become one of Philippine cinema's biggest hit this year. But not as hit as grossing P25-M on its first day.
The Mistress |
Yes, Star Cinema's latest offering "The Mistress" which also marks the 10th year anniversary of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as a loveteam is currently breaking box-office records.
According to Star Cinema's Advertising and Promotions Manager Mico del Rosario, "The Mistress" raked a whopping P25-M on its first day beating the box-office record set by the other Star Cinema produced movie last year and currently the highest grossing film of all time - "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin" starring Vice Ganda which grossed P23.9-M on its opening day.
The big question now is, can "The Mistress" surpass the P300-M earnings of "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin"?
